Spiritual Healing and Wholeness

During the year from time to time we offer an opportunity to come before God seeking spiritual healing and wholeness.

What happens at a service of healing?

At a service of healing we aim to create a relaxed but reverent atmosphere in which people can feel at ease and bring to God whatever is the focus for their prayers for healing.  We will listen to the word of God together, reflect together, pray together and sing together.

There will be a number of options for people to helped with their prayers including quiet prayer time, lighting of a candle, the laying on of hands.

We are very clear that the work of healing is God’s work and those who are involved in leading the service have a responsibility to make it as easy as possible for those who attend to come closer to God and know his grace and love.

Christian healing is often a process rather than a one off event.

This service may be a beginning and the service leaders will be happy to talk afterwards about further support and encouragement that might be helpful.

Please join us if you feel this would be helpful for yourself, for others for whom you have concern or to share your prayers for the needs of the wider world.
